Re: Fabulous Mediation Course in Kingston
I have just returned from the 3-day Course on Mediation offered by the Mediation Centre of Southeastern Ontario in Kingston. It was absolutely top notch.
The level of instruction was consistently high among all presenters. All were experienced mediators and several had a legal background. The calibre of the participants was also uniformly high; many were lawyers. I worked with three people in four coached simulations and learned a great deal from them.
The timing of each segment was strict and the pace just right to ensure maximum learning and interest. The presenters provided handouts from seminal texts to support the notions taught. Many also used video clips to show techniques used in mediation.
I have decided to take the second component: a 3-day Course in Conflict Resolution and Negotiation Skills.
The cost also includes the most gourmet lunch buffet you could imagine.
I highly recommend this program
