Marc-Nicholas Quinn is experienced and qualified to appear before all levels of Court, including the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal. He has extensive experience before the various levels of Courts as well as many provincial and federal administrative tribunals. While he has represented large institutional and governmental interests including various property and casualty insurers, the Department of Justice and a large municipal corporation, his primary focus today is on representing private individuals and corporations against institutional interests.
Mr. Quinn’s business background makes him an effective advocate when representing business owners in commercial disputes and insurance matters. Having practical business experience allows Mr. Quinn to understand what kind of solutions will work in the real world for his clients. In that regard, Mr. Quinn is often consulted in relation to business liability and insurance reviews respecting general liability and protecting his clients therefrom. Mr. Quinn’s inquisitive nature benefits his clients in innumerable ways. That nature is evidenced by the fact that he is licenced as a private investigator under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act of Ontario.
With the insight and experience that he has gained through his extensive law practice Mr. Quinn embarked on extensive mediation training as a natural adjunct to his current profession. He is a fully qualified mediator in family law, and is a Court Appointed Roster Mediator appointed through the Attorney General’s office of Ontario. He has successfully mediated disputes in the areas of family law, personal injury, motor vehicle, insurance, employment, corporate and commercial disputes.
