ADVANCED  CERTIFICATE  MEDIATION AND  COACHING TRAINING

Friday, April 27 to Sunday, April 29, 2012

This Course [Summary Designation – ACMT] has been designed with specific reference to what has been listed for intended coverage in the 5-day, 40 hours of “Specialized Mediation and Related Training” outlined as requirements to be met by applicants for the Qualified Mediator (Q. Med.)” designation adopted by the ADR Institute of Canada.

Training will include in addition to specific areas of coverage, ‘creativity exercises’ and one-on one sessions with Instructors:- a Demonstration Mediation and Mentoring Simulation with an experienced Mediator;  intensive review of coached simulated mediations conducted by Participants, with optional videotaping; Workshops on Difficult Situations in Mediation (Parts 1 & 2) and Ethical Issues for Mediators; and a half-day “Intensive Skill-Builder’s Workshop” using the focus of Elder Mediation and Family Mediation, and that includes an intensive lecture on the Conduct of Family Mediations.

Detailed Course Outlines are available upon request. The Course is limited to 15 registrants.
